About the role
We are seeking a self-motivated, compassionate Occupational Therapist for a permanent, full time opportunity supporting the Mental Health and Wellbeing Local services (Locals). As part of a multidisciplinary team you will deliver high-quality clinical assessments, flexible therapeutic interventions, expert consultation, and specialist services, including positive behaviour support and capacity building to older people experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges, AOD, loneliness, isolation and dual disabilities.
You will use evidence-based, time-limited therapies adapted to meet the unique needs of older adults in line with Mind’s Model of Recovery Oriented Practice.
About the Service
The Locals are a key feature of the current Mental Health system transformation. Acting as a front door to the mental health service system, it provides a continuum of care that delivers integrated care and support that puts the person accessing the service at the very centre of their treatment.
