About the role
Comprised of the Quality, Practice and Learning & Capability teams, the Quality, Practice and Learning business unit is responsible for driving excellence in service delivery through a strong focus on quality, contemporary practice development inclusive of lived experience led and centred approaches, evidence including Mind outcome measures, and robust lived experience informed, practice and clinical governance.
We are seeking a self-motivated Accreditation Project Officer for a 12-month fixed term, full time opportunity. You will lead accreditation readiness initiatives, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and drive continuous quality improvement to support successful accreditation outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Assess current processes and develop a detailed plan to meet the National Safety and Quality Mental Health Standards for Community Managed Organisations (NSQMHCMO) and NDIS Supported Independent Living Practice Standards.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of applicable accreditation standards and accreditation methodologies.
- Interpret accreditation requirements and determine evidence, systems and improvement activities required to demonstrate compliance.
- Work with key internal stakeholders to drive accreditation-readiness activities and quality improvements
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Project Management or other health related field as designated by Mind.
- Familiarity with NDIS and NSQMHCMO standards
- Experience working in regulated environments and at least participating in accreditation or governance activities
- Demonstrated ability to interpret accreditation, quality or regulatory requirements and translate them into operational improvement activities.
- Experience undertaking audits, self-assessments, gap analyses or compliance reviews.
