About the role
The Adult and Older Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing services, otherwise known as “Locals”, act as front door to the mental health service system providing a continuum of care and support including clinical interventions, wellbeing supports, and therapeutic support.
We have 3 places available on a 12 month fixed term for Community Mental Health Practitioner – Graduate roles, for the Locals in Bendigo and Echuca. We are seeking recent Graduates from a Certificate IV or Diploma in Mental Health or related area and these roles provide an opportunity to gain firsthand experience and prepare you for a career in Community Mental Health. You will be supported to work collaboratively with members of other disciplines to develop an understanding of working within a multidisciplinary service whilst participating in a comprehensive and targeted learning and development program to build practical experience of within the mental health service system.
