About the role
The Youth Residential Rehabilitation Service (YRRS) is a strengths focused, recovery-orientated residential program supporting young people aged between 16-25 years who are recovering from mental ill health for up to 12 months. In a safe home-like environment, the service provides clients individual and group based support that promotes resilience, enhanced social connections, life skills, access to the community and a greater sense of being able to make sound decisions. Young people benefit from sharing their experiences and recovery journeys whilst growing their confidence and skills to live independently in the community.
We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate Community Mental Health Practitioner - Team Leader for a permanent, full time opportunity to work in the Clifton Hill area. You will provide leadership to a team to deliver person-centred, recovery-oriented care to support young people build daily living skills, develop support networks, strengthen relationships with family and friends, live independently and achieve wellbeing goals. The Team Leader will act as the practice lead to staff providing supervision, mentoring and coaching.
