About the role
The Early Intervention Psychological Support Response Service (EIPSRS) provides a person-centered approach to recovery tailored to meet the needs of people living with mental ill health in the community. EIPSRS provides an individualised, tiered program of recovery support of up to 12 months delivered to clients with a mix of individual support, one-on-one outreach services and group work. The group programs are designed to support achievement of wellbeing goals and enhance recovery, build capacity and life skills, maintain sustainable housing, improve relationships with families and carers, develop community connections, and live safely and independently in the community.
We are seeking a compassionate, self-motivated Community Mental Health Practitioner for a 6 month fixed term, full time opportunity to work in the Northern suburbs area. Working from home, you will deliver assertive person-centred outreach services to clients to achieve their recovery goals, build capacity and living skills, strengthen social and community connections, maintain housing and live independently. As this position requires travel across the Northern suburbs area a fully maintained company car is provided.
