About the role

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and people-focused Marketing Manager to join our Marketing, Communications and Engagement (MCE) team on a permanent full-time basis. With a keen eye for design and the ability to juggle competing priorities, you will bring a balance of strategic thinking and creative flair to this role. Based in Burnley, this leadership role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that increase awareness, brand recognition and engagement with Mind and its subsidiaries.

 

A newly created role in a fast-paced and responsive team, this is a unique opportunity to shape Mind’s marketing stream in-line with a refreshed brand strategy. Working closely with Senior Manager, Marketing, Communications and Engagement you will lead the creation of marketing campaigns that promote Mind’s services, events and fundraising initiatives whilst being responsible for managing the Marketing stream within the Marketing, Communications and Engagement (MCE) team. Covering three dynamic streams, the MCE team drives marketing and communications through promotion, brand management, event delivery, storytelling and digital engagement across social media and website platforms.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and lead proactive and engaging end-to-end marketing strategies to promote services to potential and existing service users, families, carers and referrers.
  • Identify target audiences (service users, referrers, carers and family, donors, community) and develop tailored marketing campaigns to increase awareness, trust and engagement.
  • Contribute to the growth of the organisation’s digital presence, including website, social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Manage the implementation of a refreshed brand strategy, including organisational roll-out and ensuring staff engagement with and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Lead and manage a small team responsible for marketing Mind and its subsidiaries.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications or other related field as designated by Mind.
  • Experience in marketing in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and evaluating successful end-to-end marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital and content marketing, branding, audience insight and engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
