About the role
We are seeking a passionate, motivated Peer Practitioner for a fixed-term, part-time (22.8 hours week per week) opportunity in the Group Based Recovery Support Programs (GBRSP) in Mackay. You will utilise your lived experience of mental ill health and recovery to provide clients with person-centred supports to return to their community and live independently.
The Group Based Recovery Support Programs (GBRSP) provide support of up to 12 months to help clients live independently and safely in the community. Paired with individual 1:1 support this service provides multidisciplinary, tiered community based psychosocial support delivered through partnerships with hospital networks.
