About the role

The Lived Experience organisational function drives the implementation of lived experienced, human rights, social justice and intersectionality informed reforms to the mental health system.  

The work of the function is driven by Mind’s Lived Experience Strategy with a focus on lived experience led and informed leadership and culture, governance, workforce development and practice innovation and fidelity. 

We are seeking a self-motivated, compassionate Project Administration Officer for a 12 month fixed term, fulltime opportunity in the Burnley area. You will provide provides high level administration support to the Lived Experience Project Establishment Team including practical support across all project establishment activities, calendar management, support for recruitment activities, document and meeting management. The role is a designated Lived Experience role.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Provide effective project coordination, communication, risk management, and documentation to support smooth delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Supports governance coordination, resource management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Play a key role in project setup, delivering comprehensive administrative support and managing vendor contract processes to ensure successful project execution.
  • Supports budget oversight, risk management, governance, and stakeholder reporting to ensure smooth program delivery.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Project Management, Information technology Administration, Business or other field as designated by Mind and/or equivalent experience in a health-related field.
  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health related field as designated by Mind is desirable.
  • Previous experience in project administration and providing support in the delivery of complex and high impact Programs of work.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to engage and across a wide stakeholder group.
