Intro to your Support Coordination/ Recovery Coach journey:
A gradual onboarding process. The 1st week is KPI-free, giving you space to settle in. From weeks 2 to 4, the expectation is two billable hours per day, increasing to four hours daily by weeks 5 to 8. By month 3, your KPIs will align with the broader team. We provide ongoing support and adaptability is key as the NDIS landscape continues to evolve. Our team connects virtually, so tech literacy is essential - monthly meetings, remote buddy catchups, and fortnightly peer review groups help keep us supported and engaged.
Further details about the role:
We are seeking an empowering and goal orientated Support Coordinator / Recovery Coach for a permanent, full time (38 hours/week) opportunity in the Burnley area. You will assist consumers to locate the services and supports that they require to meet the goals in their NDIS plan and to maintain their linkages to other services including housing, health, and education. The Support Coordinator will also assist consumers with budgeting funds, remaining up to date on NDIS legislation and navigating the various NDIS systems.
Key responsibilities
- Manage multiple and complex support structures, including developing detailed support plans with identified risks and barriers.
- Efficiently address barriers within allocated timeframes and engage intensively when necessary.
- Enhance the independence, social and economic participation of people with disability and their carers.
- Assist consumers with budgeting funds, remaining up to date on NDIS legislation and navigating the various NDIS systems.
- Provide the NDIA with reports on outcomes and success indicators within the agreed reporting frequency.

What you’ll bring
- Relevant qualifications in mental health and/or substantial years of experience.
- Demonstrate values aligning with Recovery Oriented approaches
- A strong capacity to address challenging issues at consumer, service delivery, and system levels.
- Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS and Community Services sector and ability to build strong relationships with service providers, clinical teams and key stakeholders.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team and constructive working relationships with consumers, family/carers and other agencies.
- A valid driver’s licence is essential, reliable access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel and willingness to travel to client locations within approximately a 45-minute driving radius.
