About the role

We are seeking self-motivated and compassionate Senior Allied Health Clinicians for a secondment within our Allied Health Service. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and portfolio management while delivering high-quality assessments, flexible therapeutic interventions, and specialist services for clients with severe and complex mental ill health and dual disabilities.

 

Using strengths-based approaches, you will support clients via face-to-face and telehealth interventions to help them achieve recovery goals and improve wellbeing.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver flexible therapeutic support services including assessments, brief interventions, treatment planning, evaluations and education in line with professional, ethical and National Standards.
  • Provide mental health interventions, allied health therapy assessments, and short-term evidence-based interventions that are person-centred and aligned with the proposed model of care.
  • Build the capacity of other clinicians within the team through supervision, coaching, and training, enabling the delivery of comprehensive supports for clients with complex needs.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio that contributes to achieving the goals of the team and broader organisational operational plan.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Mental Health, Social Work, Allied Health, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or other health related field and hold current registration with AHPRA, AASW or equivalent accreditation and/or hold Mental Health Accreditation.
  • Experience in a similar clinical role, including providing supervision.
  • Expertise in supporting clients with mental health challenges, dual disabilities, and complex needs.
