About the role

Mind Australia provides community-based mental health services across Australia, supporting individuals to lead independent, fulfilling lives. The Information Services (IS) enables this mission by delivering robust, innovative, and secure and modern technology platforms that support service delivery, operational efficiency, and data informed decision making and a positive staff experience.

 

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Enterprise Architect for a 6 month fixed term opportunity in the Burnley area. You will lead the design of Mind’s modern technology environment and the development of an enterprise‑wide architecture roadmap that strengthens system reliability, reduces technical debt, and enables sustainable digital transformation and organisational growth.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Shapes and informs enterprise strategy by analysing disruptive forces, business models, and technology trends to guide strategic decisions and investment priorities.
  • Assesses and prepares the organisation for change through scenario planning and future‑/current‑state modelling to support adaptable, technology‑enabled business strategies.
  • Translate organisational strategy into actionable technology designs that balance immediate business needs with long‑term sustainability and total cost of ownership
  • Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that sequences stabilisation, modernisation and transformation activities aligned to organisational strategy and IS priorities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, project teams and vendors, ensuring architectural decisions are transparent, well-governed and support business outcomes

 

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis or equivalent experience
  • Eight or more years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis or experience as an enterprise architecture consultant.
  • Demonstrated ongoing professional development in architecture strategy, emerging technologies, and digital transformation
  • Demonstrated enterprise architecture experience using recognised architecture frameworks and practices, spanning strategy through to execution
  • Strong breadth across applications, data and analytics, integration patterns, identity & security, cloud platforms and end‑user computing, with practical experience designing Microsoft‑first environments (Azure, M365, Power Platform).
