About the role

The Learning & Capability (L&C) team is responsible for supporting Mind’s workforce, Recovery College, and Family & Carers through coordinating a comprehensive learning calendar, developing, and delivering practice skills training and managing learning projects.

 

We are seeking a self-motivated Learning & Development Coordinator/Trainer for a 9 week fixed term, full time opportunity in the Burnley area. You will provide high level, efficient administrative support to the Learning & Development (L&C) team and Mind’s learning activities and programs, delivering face-to-face and virtual instructor led training. Acting as the primary point of contact for all L&C enquiries, this role will manage L&C Helpdesk enquiries and correspondence, support internal and external stakeholders, provide training course administration, manage learning calendars, coordinate training sessions and events.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively provide high level administrative support to the Senior Manager, Learning & Capability and Learning & Capability (L&C) team on a broad range of tasks and support the Helpdesk in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Consult with the L&C Workforce Manager and liaise with the L&C team, in order to develop, coordinate and maintain the education resources, managers’ toolkits and learning calendars.
  • Liaise with training providers and external training organisations in order to scope and coordinate training calendar opportunities.
  • Perform timely and accurate data entry and analysis to measure performance and assist in the understanding of activity and business drivers.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Business Administration, Workplace Training & Assessment, Education or other related field as designated by Mind and/or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with diverse range of stakeholders across all levels including executive level.
  • Experience in delivering training using adult learning principles is required.
  • Experience in facilitating recovery and/or reflective practice groups is highly desirable.
