About the role
The Marketing, Communications and Engagement (MCE) team plays a critical role in connecting Mind’s work with the communities we serve and those who support us. The team leads three integrated streams: Marketing, encompassing services marketing, brand management, collateral development, event and conference management, and fundraising support; Communications, including media liaison, storytelling, and digital channels such as social media and website content; and Customer Service, where the Mind Connect team acts as the front door to the organisation, managing enquiries, intake, and referrals to ensure people access the right support at the right time.
We are seeking a self-motivated Marketing Coordinator for a permanent full-time opportunity in the Burnley area. You will be responsible for planning, supporting and coordinating the delivery of integrated marketing strategies that drive awareness and engagement across services marketing, brand management, collateral development, events, conferences and fundraising. You will also support the Marketing team by managing digital and social advertising and producing regular performance reporting to track reach, engagement and conversion across marketing activities, campaigns and events.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns for services, events and fundraising efforts.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective development, planning and implementation of digital marketing campaigns for services, events and fundraising efforts that are clearly communicated internally and externally.
- In partnership with the Marketing Manager, develop and implement Mind’s marketing strategy to proactively promote and maximise engagement with Mind’s services, events and fundraising efforts.
- Develop, write and co-ordinate the printing/publishing and distribution of marketing collateral (including internal and external signage) to support services, partnership work and aligned with the Mind brand.
- Segment and maintain Mind’s and its subsidiaries email marketing platform (Mailchimp and Campaign Monitor) and subscriber lists in line with best practice to ensure an up to date and segmented database for targeted communications.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications or other related field as designated by Mind.
- Previous experience in a marketing or similar role with at least 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated capability in using social media management tools.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, work to tight deadlines under pressure, and deliver high quality outcomes with strong attention to detail.
- Proven capability in design and editing software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro) is an advantage.
- Preferably an understanding of the key issues relevant to health, mental health and/or social support.
