About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering youth mental health support for young people aged 12–25 experiencing, or recovering from, first episode psychosis.

You will lead Community Mental Health Practitioners and Peer Practitioners to deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented support to young people, families and carers across Cairns, Mackay and Metro South. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical partners, community stakeholders, and local service providers to enhance client outcomes.

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health-related field.
  • Proven leadership experience within youth mental health or community services.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practice.
